Here at Montana Skies Labradors we raise our puppies using Natural Rearing methods to the best of our abilities. That includes starting puppies on raw food and herbal supplements as soon as they are ready to begin weaning. They are given at least two craniosacral treatments before they go to their new homes. The first at a few days old is to help counteract any issues due to position in the womb and the trauma of birth. The second is at 6-7 weeks to make sure any issues arising from playing hard with siblings are addressed before puppies go home with their new families. We do not vaccinate our puppies. Instead, we recommend homeopathic nosodes for their efficacy and ease of use. A great benefit of nosodes is that once puppy has been dosed, socialization can safely begin. No waiting weeks for puppy to get so many vaccines before they are safe to be exposed to the public.

Each puppy has been swabbed for Embark's genetic health screening for our peace of mind and so that our families can be assured of the health of their new puppy from the very start.

Our puppies are raised in our home and every puppy is handled daily from birth. They are exposed to all the regular activities and noises of a busy household such as the vacuum cleaner, blender, dishwasher, talking, laughter, singing, etc. We live on a farm so puppies are also introduced to all the other animals at an appropriate age and spend as much time outside as the weather allows; playing, exploring, and discovering. We start "training" and shaping their behavior at an early age so our puppies are a joy to bring into your home.
